Romney should bash Gov. Christie for publicly praising Obama during the Election's home stretch. He's only helping the liberal media!!!

And btw, last I checked, Fox is covering the storm as much as anyone. DAMN MAINSTREAM DRIVEBY LIBERAL BIASED MEDIA

puter oughta leave the cozy confines of his Ball Camp estate and travel to the affected areas and explain to those families who've lost loves ones that this is just barely a hurricane. That managing to git kilt in (basically) a tropical storm is the same as drowning in the bathtub.

And while he's at it, haul a load of chainsaws up there and mark'em up 4-500%. Those losers couldn't thank him enough.

Take heart, strangelove - we were traveling home from the FL panhandle Sunday evening and we passed fleets of utility trucks headed north. One rest area didn't have enough room for'em and they were parked for miles down the shoulder of the interstate. TX and LA power companies for the most part.

I never said left/right anything.

I just find it amusing that they cover storms that hit the north east so much more heavily then anywhere else. Yeah I know more people are affected, but the coverage by everyone for this Cat 1 storm was practically hysterical (not ha ha hysterical).

Tick doth protest to much. I believe you are the one with the estate in village green.

Besides 300% would make it worthwhile.

A few things looking at the pics:

Why didn't the mass transit folks move buses out of harms way? I read where several storage places are flooded.

Same with a lots full of cabs.

Maybe its not feasible or they thought it would never happen, but was any thought ever given to ways to seal off subway tunnels? I mean long before yesterday. As in years ago? You can make equipment salt water resistant or proof (ask the navy), but it costs a lot more.

BTW I find it ironic that Oprama said state and local have primary responsibility. Heard that somewhere before....

And one more: Voted today.

Had to show drivers license, took about 30 seconds, verified and signed sheet, and voted.

Oh my God! What a fucking nightmare showing an ID was!

"And one more: Voted today."

Who did you vote for? Your writing in here is always so objective and independent-minded, reflecting a sense of seeing every issue and event from multiple, nuanced perspectives, that it's hard to guess who you voted for...

Another unneeded mandate from the TN legislative clown college.

Rose and Paul are equally likely to win, but Paul has a better haircut.

puter have to say this one is the storm of the century.
saving obamas bacon
chris christie delivers the sound bite for much of the undecided voters to chew on

but the picture of the jersey shoreline
the devastating fire wiping out 80 homes
the loss of power by 10 million people
the flooding of an entire subway system and airport
the dumping of 2-3 feet of snow on one state in october

yeah I'd say the news events warranted hysterical coverage

probably saved a lot of lives

puter was just irritated that Fox interrupted the erstwhile oprama harangue in order to bring news of some storm a day's drive away. "Barely a hurricane."

He's okay now. Fox is surely back in dump-oprama mode.
