Puter, are you watching Luntz' focus group tonight? Can you honestly say these are "undecided voters"? Luntz puts on a group that Fox wants. Angry lady screaming about Obama not being qualified, wisecracker slamming Obama left and right, a couple true undecideds mixed in that are shouted down by the Romney supporters.

I haven't watched one second of any of the 4 debates live. Working the reverse hex voodoo.

Sounds like how I felt about the undecideds in the townhall debate.

Generally there is one person I trust to give an honest assessment of this kind of stuff and it's Krauthammer.

I trust him to give a pretty good and honest opinion of most things and if he thinks oprama won or Romney choked he would say just that. Watching hannity or Mathews is worthless for an honest opinion although I do have to I've Mathews credit for slamming oprama in first debate. Not sure hannity would have done hat if reversed.

Anyway Charles gave good marks to Romney tonight and basically Romney needed to be seen by audience as someone who is presidential and says he did that in all three debates. Basically doesn't sound like tonight will have much impact and barring a gaffe by either guy it's a subject that they probably sounded similar on a lot of things.

A lot of people probably flipped to MNF or the World Series about the time Syria came up

Romney clearly didn't want to sound like a guy about to involve the military in a new war in the ME. So he ended up embracing nearly everything Obama has done and just didn't go far enough, and he'll make Amurica respected and admired again. Fer sure.

I've never really got the undecided voter anyway. Clancy probably described politics better than anyone:

40% will vote left and 40% vote right no matter who was running although it may be 45% each this year. The remaining 10-20 % vote not on ideology but on who they like or who looks presidential etc.

Maybe they hate politics and or they just don't pay attention until just now. Hopefully they break for the challenger as they have in the past.

And Jesus does stafford have a rocket arm or what?

I do have to laugh at Chris Wallace doing an instant fact-check only on Obama's talking points and pointing out (thanks to a tweet from a marine) that the Marines still use bayonets. So Obama 's joke was "wrong" somehow. Well done, Chris.

I think it's a fair criticism that the wisecrack was a little snide but its point is clearly true. That point being that having a overwhelming advantage in an archaic technology isn't an advantage at all.

Krauthammer looks like Eddie Munster's child after getting raped by Grandpa Munster. He's the kind of guy who got beat up regularly in school. By me. No wonder puter sympathizes with him...

Krauthammer has progressed from liberal to Scoop Jackson Democrat to full-blown neo-con supporting military intervention in every country in the Middle East.

I can't believe that dude was ever a lib. He's the most obvious, non-intellectual, boilerplate type of repub I've ever seen. Not worth paying any attention to, he never make an original or even unexpected observation. In that sense, he's kinda like the republican version of a Jennifer Aniston movie...

Say what you want about Charles but he will criticize the right as well as the left. I'm not saying he is unbiased. He is a conservative, but he is not a spinner.

CNN poll after said 48-40 oprama. But basically a tie or a split decision as this appears to be isn't what oprama needed. He needed Romney to screw up to slow down the surge Romney has had the last 3 weeks.

See stafford just gt you a td. Heh.

Earthquake predictions and a triumph of scientific illiteracy in an Italian court

An Italian court sentenced scientists to jail time for not having a functioning crystal ball ahead of the 2009 earthquake in L'Aquila. The arguments of science and reason fell on deaf ears.

The whole thing is hilarious, but for the worst (partial) version of the song Wiz just referenced, go to the 5:00 mark...

Democratic strategist Paul Begala, asked by CNN's Wolf Blitzer if the Obama campaign has given up on North Carolina, said "Yes. I'm not supposed to say that Wolf. I work for the pro-Obama super PAC, so I'm being paid to help reelect the president, but if you look at where he's going and where he's spending money, yes, it looks like Governor Romney is likely to carry North Carolina."

Talk about strategies blowing up in yer face......looks like the War on Women is finally paying off......

As the presidential campaign heads into its final weeks, the survey of voters in 12 crucial swing states finds female voters much more engaged in the election and increasingly concerned about the deficit and debt issues that favor Romney. The Republican nominee has pulled within one point of the president among women who are likely voters, 48%-49%, and leads by 8 points among men.

I guess this is where Obozo scored his points and thus deemed the winner by the left.

“Well, Governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military’s changed,” he said.

“We have these things called aircraft carriers, where planes land on them. We have these ships that go underwater, nuclear submarines,”

For a sitting prez who just had an ambassador murdered, sounds awfully petty and small.
