DNC, state Democratic parties and county organizations are all bracing for a lot of election day shenanigans by the GOP/Tea Party. Hell, voting starts here October 18. So, we get two and a half weeks of the shit.

North Carolina Democratic party braces for shenanigans?.....Now that's funny.

This from a party whose sitting governor can't run for reelection because she is so corrupt, and her Democratic predecessor had to plead a felony conviction to stay out of prison.

Obama didn't wax the floor with Romney like Romney did doing the first part of the first debate, but the President was the clear winner tonight.

These two were really personal. It's obvious that this only going to get uglier.

I didn't see Obama as the clear winner. I scored it a draw. The format made it nearly unwatchable, though.

If it was a boxing match, I'd score it 115-113, Romney.

Not sure what DS was watching...

Even George Will scored it a win for Obama.

I am not sure what you were watching. I guess having Houston Nutt coach your football team fucked up your brain.

If he said such, I disagree with George Will. I think BHO was much better than he was in the first debate, so maybe expectations changed.

In the end, such things are opinion. There is no defined metric to calculate a true score. The two candidates spewed the party line rhetoric for the most part and covered very little new ground. Meh.

Technically, a draw. But visually, it was Obama. Primarily because Romney looked directly at the President, accused him of saying something, was disagreed with by the President and then had to be corrected by Crowley. If you had to pick one moment that you'll see in the next few days, it'll be that one.

Romney's best moment was the litany he gave of what Obama had promised but didn't occur. But you won't see that as much on most stations.

The problem with politics, is that you can change the words "Republican" and "Democrat" with words like "Arkansas" or "Alabama" in places like this or SEC Rant, or wherever and get basically the same analysis. Fuck it, its bullshit, everybody just rooting for their "team."

I hated the pseudo-town hall format. Horrible.

Fuck Alabama and Arkansas, unless you're talking about a Big 10 team, then fuck them.

Of course, I understand Romney looking through binders of women when he was governor. I looked through a lot of pictures of women all the time.

I actually like it. They weren't supposed to ask questions of each other per their negotiations. I think Romney asked Obama a question with the 1st or second question. They both asked the other questions throughout after that.

We'll have to disagree on that. I want a sharp and assertive moderator who asks relevant questions and keeps the candidates on point and on time.

Of course, if their were such a moderator, I'd probably vote for him for president.
