No. What he revealed is that idiots were posting 'provocative' pictures that made it appear they were getting paid. I don't know where a lot of these players get all the cash/jewelry/guns they are so proud of showing on facebook but it's certainly not isolated to UNC. That UF running back (or WR) posted similar pics when he had gotten recruited and even said in an interview that random 'people' gave him money. Nothing ever came of it.

Clemson has had a player do that as well. Alabama had a recruit a few years back who did the same thing. The picture showed him holding up $34 and an AirSoft gun. He had so much ridicule from that "gangsta" pic that he took it down himself before any coach could say anything to him.

I never said this only happens at UNC, and certainly the money could be legit. But if it is why did Butch kick the players off the team?

He kicked them off because it shows that they were/are stupid, and maybe he was looking for a reason to kick their sorry, no-talent asses off of the team.
