I just don't think they're that good. They can certainly beat the Gators but I think UF takes them down. I would never put money on or against LSU though.

We get on the plus side of turnovers with them and we have a decent shot.
I'm still not sold on the OLine's ability to establish a run game with a defense of this caliber (or to keep the drive killing motion and holding penalties to a minimum).

What a freaking game.
Yes LSU's offense is as underachieving as UF's offense is overachieving but that was still way above anything anyone was expecting out Hogtown even 2 weeks ago.
Oh and picking up that fumble off the catch and lateral on the last play put us in plus mode on turnovers to fulfill my prophecy.

And going from that one to see UGha getting humiliated right out of the gate was a good nightcap.

Looks like Coach Meyer didn't leave the cupboard quite as bare as people thought?

Look at the number of freshman/sophomore contributors and revise/resubmit. Meyer left the cupboard thin in crucial places.

Nearly everyone who starts on the defense is a junior or senior

Driskel was a Meyer recruit. Gillslee is a senior. Every starter on the offensive line is an upperclassman. Trey Burton, Reed, Hines, and Hammond are upperclassmen as well. Dunbar and Clay Burton are Meyer recruits.

Nearly every starter either played for Urban or was brought to Florida by Urban. I can buy that the roster was thinner than it should have been, but clearly the talent left behind was not as bad as Gator fans, butthurt over Meyer leaving, encouraged everyone to believe.

Is DSL really starting to carry the water for Urban Meyer?

Just think how good of shape the Gators would be in without the players arrest record over Urban's tenure...

Even though Urban coaches Ohio State now, 41-14 still stings.

Dear Reality,

We flirted with the idea of returning to you at Vandy, but decided against it. Maybe this week.

Regards,

Never thought they'd ever crack to top 10 this year let alone as high as 3. They'll still end around 11-16 but it sure is fun to watch for now.

No. 2 in the first BCS poll. Can we both make it to ATL unbeaten? There seems to be some law if Alabama makes it, we play you guys. BTW...hello from the top!

#2? Cool. No. We won't meet in Atl this year. Next year is the goal. This year so far has been extra gravy on the mashed potatoes but the ride ends these next 2 games.
