I suppose you can edit out the words Rice ALWAYS spoke when referencing the embassy attack, that information was "preliminary and evolving." But now that the intelligence community has taken the blame for the incorrect early assessments, the story really has no legs except for the usual suspects.

Before the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans, the U.S. mission had made "repeated requests" for more security at the compound.

According to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform those requests by U.S. mission in Libya were denied by "officials in Washington."

"Based on information provided to the committee by individuals with direct knowledge of the events in Libya, the attack that claimed the ambassador's life was the latest in a long line of attacks on Western diplomats and officials in Libya in the months leading up to Sept. 11, 2012," the lawmakers write. "It was clearly never, as administration officials once insisted, the result of a popular protest."

Obama basically accomplished in Libya with air power and zero US casualties what dubya managed in Iraq with 4500 dead US servicemen and 150k wounded at a cost of 1-2 trillion.

Unfortunately, one main difference between the two is how Iran got a huge boost out of the US taking down Iraq, their biggest rival and sworn enemy, and how they're gaining control there now that their Shiite cousins are mostly running the show.

But yeah, according to a few numbskulls the attack on our Libyan embassy is bigger than all of that. Because of the movie lie, damnit!

To illustrate the liberal tendency to use government power to impose their wierd utopian dogma on the individual, at the expense of freedom, I cite three recent examples: a New Yorker no longer has the personal freedom to buy a large soft drink thanks to the paternally totalitarian instincts of the liberal mayor of New York. CalifornIans who believe (incorrectly, in my opinion) that homosexuality is "curable" can now go to prison for pursuing their beliefs. The full force of the government of California will crush anyone who offends the dogma of the gay lobby just like Middle Eastern start rioting whenever they think their prophet is being dissed. And thanks to the feminist lobby, the US government has used its authority to order the Catholic Church to violate their religious beliefs and pay for birth control and abortifacients, which is outrageous as forcing mosques or synagogues to provide free pork.

If you want see liberalism's tendency to use government power to brutally hasten their version of the Millenium, see Josef Stalin or Chairman Mao. They were both liberals on steroids.

We all have a right to read books, therefore NOW should be forced to give away free copies of Phyllis Schlaffley's books as part of the "literary marketplace"? Oh, so your problem is not that the Catholic Church has to pay for OCA's, but that there is a requirement that all insurance has to include OCA's. Not a religious objection at all.
