And how exactly was Romney crammed down your throat? There were a ton of nominees to choose from?

No. His great-grandfather moved to Mexico to practice polygamy and had up to 5 wives apparently. His grandfather married only once and moved back to the U.S. with his great-grandfather. His father was born in Mexico.Johnette's Daddy wrote:SERIOUS QUESTION:

Doesn't, Did. Laws against it currently in Mexico, Canada and the U.S. although how active they enforce the law is a different question.AlabamAlum wrote:Does/did Mexico allow polygamy?

Big Love!
Or maybe, ¡Amor Grande!
And I think polygamy should be legal. Now, why would someone want that is another question...

Can't blame the Republcan establishment on this one. They conservative wing of the party refused to back one candidate that was closer to their views. The only one that they all seemed to get around was Perry. It was Perry's nomination to lose. Unfortunately for that group, that was before Perry, participated in the debates. The rabid fringe sees Romney for exactly what he is - another in a series of moderate nominees that the GOP Establishment crammed down our throats and proceeded to lose.

I wonder why.
Today I'm going to call my county courthouse and see if the ballot will allow me to write in Ron Paul.
Vote Gary Johnson. Ron Paul is not on the ballot, but Gary is. He also doesn't have the baggage of racism (unfounded or ot) that Paul has. Plus any vote for a third party candidate is much better than throwing away your vote on someone that's not even on the ballot. If you haven't already go to isidewith.com and see how close your views are to Gary's

Yeah, you're right, the repubs need to nominate someone who is fully supported by the rabid fringe. Yeah, that's the ticket. LMAO. You illustrate perfectly what I meant by the GOP being destroyed by the rabid fringe. Look, y'all could've started your own party and became irrelevant, but that wasn't good enough. You had to align yourself with the only major party that would have you, weasel your way into their power structure, and now you've brought them down. Like an infestation of termites. I suspect you people take a measure of vainglorious delight in this undeniable illustration of your power as a bloc (loathe as you no doubt are to admit it), however destructive it has proven. I think it's pretty funny...

I don't think Romney is an idiot, which is why his idiotic behavior of late is all the more puzzling. I mean, he's a dork (as a mormon, you could say almost by definition, but even other than that, he's just goofy), but he's not an idiot. And if you really think Obama is an idiot, well, I don't know what to tell you...

Nope. No polygamy in Ciudad Birmingham, either.

Then I feel very confident in guessing that there's no polygamy in Mexico. They don't make a move without checking in with B'ham first...
