I would've liked that post better if you had said "shit sammy" instead of "shit sandwich"...

Wait, I don't get that, though. Boehner caved to the Tea Party? Didn't the debt ceiling get raised? Weren't the Tea Partiers saying "let it default"? I thought the Tea Partiers caved and let things get pushed out to this December.

no, I'm saying in the eyes of the tea party he caved to allowing the debt ceiling to be raised. He tried to side with them but he blinkedBklyn wrote:Wait, I don't get that, though. The dildo fits up your ass a little more comfortable now?
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Two headlines right next to each other on CNN:
"On anniversary of 9/11 why do muslims still live in fear in the US?"
"Islamists storm US embassy in Cairo"

If you had gotten that in before Rat's riposte, I would've given you credit. Coming on its heels, however: F, take a seat!

Re: Florida State Seminoles
admittedly, right after 9/11, if I was getting on a plane with a towel head I was concerned, but honestly I work with so many Muslims that I don't even think twice about them anymore.

Living in NY I never had the occasion to feel one way or the other about Muslims during that time. They were everywhere the day before and the day after, so it never felt much different. However, on 9/12/2001 all the Arabs in Brooklyn were trying to pass themselves off as Spanish...and I remember telling an Indian homie of mine that he was getting no white pussy for at least 6 months after the attacks.
At least he didn't take a bullet like some Sikhs did.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
Just SAD. This is about hatred overwhelming sense.
Poll: 15% of NC Republicans think Mitt Romney killed Osama bin Laden
http://palmettopublicrecord.org/2012/09 ... bin-laden/
Nearly one in six North Carolina Republicans believe GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney was more responsible for Osama bin Laden’s death than the president who ordered the strike, according to a poll released on Monday.
Raleigh-based Public Policy Polling asked 1,081 likely voters a series of questions related to the presidential election over September 7-9. According to the poll’s crosstabs, 15 percent of Republican respondents said that Mitt Romney was more responsible for the al Qaeda leader’s death than President Obama, while 56 percent said they weren’t sure.
Just six percent of overall respondents credited Romney with bin Laden’s death, according to the poll. That doesn’t seem like much, until you remember that the Obama campaign won North Carolina in 2008 by just .3 percent of all votes cast in the state.

Ignorance is easier and more abundant than knowlege. Fear and hate is an easier embrace than understanding and love. I'm not sad, at all. I am validated.

And probably 75% of them are State fans.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
thats all part of a bigger issue and that is the partisan news feeds of MSNBC and Fox.
People live in a vacuum of news cycles that perpetuate a narrative for or against a political party.
Its the only explanation to seeing a billboard with George Bush on it saying "Miss me yet?"

"The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind."
