Look some more. Another incorrect rant on your part. I wasn't talking about Brazile as head of the DNC. You did educate me though. I didn't know she had ever been interim chair.

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread
How is that "reaching out to the black community"? Is hiring a mexican gardner for my church the equivalent of evangelizing and inviting the thousands of Latinos who live in my church's neighborhood to come to worship and join the church?Professor Tiger wrote:I just gave you several: Condy Rice, Clarence Thomas, Herman Cain, Michael Steele... but none of those count with you.you cannot post anything to even remotely suggest a GOP desire to reach out to the black community
Uh, the Dems nominated (and elected) a black POTUS, which kind of trumps all of those other offices, don't you think?By the way, for all their black loving rhetoric, why didn't Clinton or Obama nominate a black SCOTUS judge? Why haven't the Dem's appointed a black DNC chairman like the R's did? Why haven't the Dem's appointed a black SECSTATE or NSA or JCS Chairman?
Nice reading of my mind. In actual point of fact THIS is what your GOP offers me:But you don't consider actual performance of racial equality to be significant. You are still satisfied with eternal lip service by Dem's, with no consideration they haven't done anything of actual substance for the black community over the last 40 years. You are a robot.

During a press conference later, O'Mara was asked if he had any advice for Zimmerman, and he answered, "Pay me."

By the way, Edward Brooke is a great lesson for politicians. It's cheaper to keep her. He had to admit that he lied during his divorce (made public by his ex-wife). He's still alive although he developed breast cancer.

Since we have all the racism experts assembled here, I have a question for them. It has been reported that when someone says someone is doing it the "Chicago Way", that the statement has racial undertones. How is that? I've always associated Chicago politics with white fat corrupt union bosses....You know, like Kelsey Grammer.

So because of the racist stupidity of Bernardino County republican women's club, you conclude for the millionth time that all Republicans are racists. That makes sense. The Bernardino County republican women's club is indeed at the top of the Republican party and calls all the shots.Nice reading of my mind. In actual point of fact THIS is what your GOP offers me:

Meanwhile, there is an organization that IS at the very top of the Democrat party structure. It's called the Democrat National Convention, and they just voted (overwhelmingly by voice vote) to exclude God and Jerusalem from their platform:
I realize that the Democrat Convention doesn't have the same standing in the Dem party that the Republican women's club of Bernardino County has with the GOP. But that aside, do you have any problem with your party booing God, Reverend?

I never thought that statement had racial undertones - I always thought it referred to having people cast ballots decades after their deaths.sardis wrote:Since we have all the racism experts assembled here, I have a question for them. Yes, I do, and I'm sure you rejoiced with me when:Professor Tiger wrote:Meanwhile, there is an organization that IS at the very top of the Democrat party structure. Pressed by President Barack Obama, delegates amended it and put God back.

Isn't it wonderful to have a President who affirms his Christian values?
Now - explain to me where Mr. Romney's Mormon faith fits in to your understanding of Christianity?

I would feel better about both parties if they left the malicious, invisible, omnipotent being in the mythology books, where he/it/they belong.

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread
She didn't tell me specific stories. Just that she thought Jeb was the sweetest kid and that she had to take a switch to George and one of her charges once. She felt that George encouraged her charges to get in trouble. If she knew the word (my Grandmother did not possess a very large vocabulary at all), I think she would describe George as mischievous.crashcourse wrote:so any good stories your grandma had on jeb and 43 Owlman?

You have to suspect prof had an unusual nightcap last night. One 'robotic paradigm' borders on high falutin, while two is definitely over the top; three means yer high and pretending to be Wm. F. Buckley.

Chicago politics > Texas politics. Except for the Death penalty. Texas is a leader there.

Damn straight. Even Texans against the death penalty are proud that if you going to have it, at least Texas is number one. (There is no such thing as Alaska)Except for the Death penalty. Texas is a leader there.
