Actually AA the arguement for the non catch never was "he didn't have possession long enough" it was "touching the jersey and going through the arms doesn't constitute possession." The ball just went through his arms and down his abdomen to the ground. He didn't catch the ball, it just touched him on it's way to the ground. It was so bad that even in slo mo you couldn't make an arguement for him ever actually catching the ball, only that it went through his arms and down to the ground.
In case you are wondering there is a HUGE thread on Volquest about reinstating the ban on Allama again after his showing out in the UGA game last year. The fear is he will seek more revenge this year like he has in the past. I haven't posted a time in that thread just showing you that it is an issue.
