I see some of these message boards with people that are outraged about him being stripped of his titles. While I think he should have due process, his own former teammates have rolled over on him.

Lance Armstrong is a douche and an ass, and its certainly conceivable that hes also a cheater.

They dont have any evidence, and certainly no physical evidence. I also think its clear that the USADA is somehow even worse. Theyu look like media whores. They're "stripping him of his titles?" "Banning" him from cycling? How many fucking races has the USADA sanctioned? Oh, none?

This is basically the same thing as if the USADA decided that the New York Yankees are stripped of some word series titles because some guys including Andy pettitte said that he and Roger Clemens used PEDs. Probably the only reason the USADA didnt do that is because they can act like they are big shots over a fringe sport like cycling in the US wheras MLB and its fans would slap their ass down.

Lance passed over 500 drug tests. I agree with his move. Fuck it. I'm not racing anymore anyway why waste the millions on legal shit. They don't have anything concrete on him. Plus, when they strip him of his titles who do they give it too since #2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 who finished behind him also failed their tests? If he did cheat at least it was then an even playing field. Seems like a witch hunt.

I don't know what evidence they have or don't have but more than one person had said they were in the room when Lance got a blood transfusion (with oxygen enriched blood) between races.

He never failed a test. Over 500 of them. Wherever he was. Spain, Europe, California, he had to inform him where he was every day. They came without notice yet he passed them all.

People are speculating that he got wind of some slam dunk evidence they were about to drop on him, so Armstrong decided to bail out early. I don't know...and I really don't care. They all dope(d) in cycling, it's just that Lance doped better. In a way, he earned those titles legitimately.
