The average gas price across the US is >$3.60 a gallon, which is about a dollar-and-a-half
higher than it was in January of 2009, when Barrack Obama took office. Here in Oregon, it is >$4.10 --
double what it was at the beginning of 2009.

It can be argued that Dear Leader actually
wants gas prices to be higher. He has said in the past that he believes higher gas prices will hasten the development of some magical, cheaper alternative energy source. Evidently, one term as POTUS hasn't been enough time to make any apparent progress in that direction. Does anyone think a second term will produce results?
