I'm impressed and very happy. Didn't think they were there yet. They passed a huge test. Now keep it up.

And yes, Chapman needs to stick his head in a microwave for 90 seconds but I still wouldnt send him down unless you decide he's going to be a starter. I would have let him face 2 more batters. He needs to work it out. Masset wasnt the answer. Obviously. Cards did make it fun however. Two teams that dont give up.

Agreed, two batters. What the hell was Baker thinking, to leave him out there that long? Well I sat out there in the rain, the whole game. Almost had a nervous meltdown in the ninth. Shades of the dark days of Danny Graves. Came home with cold wet feet. Maybe a nice shot of Woodford Reserve will warm them up. Thank God we beat their asses pillar to post for 8 1/2 innings. We needed every run after the ninth. Another thing, Hiesey needs to be the every day starter in left field. I've been saying that for awhile.

Damn, that sweep felt good. Beating Carpenter makes it that much sweeter.
