So I guess your answer is, when it becomes a two man race, that all those former Gingrich voters will just flock to Romney. Why in the world would they do that? Why would a conservative jump to a moderate instead of another conservative? If this were a two man race between Romney and either Gingrich or Santorum, Romney would be a distant second. He absolutely would have lost Michigan and Ohio.

The Chinese stopping buying our debt would drastically shift the currency market and forcefully unpeg their currency in relation to ours, which would lead probably to the destruction of the portion of the Chinese economy that exports stuff to the USA.

I watched Game Change last night and man was I surprised at the treatment Palin received. Turns out she is an intriguing woman; caring - with a rock-solid faith and a winning way of relating to her audience. Had McCain's people let her run the campaign she wanted to run, things could have been oh-so-different. You get the sense that had they flipped the ticket there is a real chance we'd be living under a Palin Presidency.

Jullianne Moore was outstanding, as was Woody Harrelson and Ed Harris. What a movie. What a gal.

True, crash, McCain (Harris) did come off as a statesman and a highly principled campaigner - especially his disdain for capitalizing on the Rev. Wright soundbites. He described very poignantly how he got "Roved" 4 years earlier in South Carolina with those illegitimate black baby pushpolls.

Heh. That was quite a contrast - McCain swearing constantly with fbombs galore, while Palin never uttered a single untoward word (unless you count "flipping"). Later she internalized her anger by going silent for extended periods of time...have to admit, that was a little unsettling.

Moore as Palin looks almost as good as Palin.

The bald guy who was McCain's campaign manager, and was part of the decision to select Palin as VP, is now a staple on MSNBC. He is a reliable anti-GOP talking head, and he is helping them keep their hate fest against Palin going.

I'd also like to see the movie about Maggie Thatcher.

Palin did not get similar treatment. Palin got far worse treatment, daily, for the past three years.

I don't remember comedians joking about Fluck's 13 year old daughter being raped by MLB players, jokes about Fluck's down syndrome infant, etc.
