Today's ACC Championship Game was the basketball gods making right the travesty that was the end of the UNC-State game. I'm not usually one to call for officials being suspended, but the non-calls on the Marshall charge and State's last attempt at getting a shot off were two of the worst I have ever seen. All 3 refs that worked yesterday's game should be suspended by the ACC for at least one conference game next season.

Oh, and WAY TO GO, SEMINOLES!!!

So the top 4 teams all go down in the past 2 days. I wonder if that's ever happened before? Doubt that it'll make much difference, except for Kansas, maybe. The MSU/OSU game might've been the decider on the final 1 seed. UK was a lock for the top 1 seed irregardless of what happened today and it's not like they got blown out or even beaten badly. Tough loss, just like ours, but it happens. As for us, I can't see how losing a game like that is going to affect our seeding. Only question now is, is MSU or Kansas the fourth 1 seed? Either way, we'll get OSU as the 2 in our bracket. I'd rather have had MSU, but oh well. You gotta win 6, it really doesn't matter who they are. Anyway, the real season starts in about 10 minutes (and the whining from UK fans about how they got fucked by the committee, toughest bracket, blahblahblah)...

Whoever gets the fourth 1 seed is probably battling it out with whoever gets the first 2 seed, so it really doesn't mean much, b/c those teams are likely going to be playing each other the regional finals. So UK gets the gift of (potentially) MSU in the FF, although I think Kansas will be there instead for a revenge match...
