This is, like, Texas' largest recruiting class that I can remember. 28 committments. Usually, Texas is somewhere around 20-23. I know somewhere around 2008 or so they had an unusually small class (17 or so).

Alabama, as expected, cleaned up. LSU had a disappointing few days, losing some key in-state recruits to both 'Bama and Texas.

UCLA did well for themselves--of course, we said the same thing back in 2009. So long, Skippy. And in the LMAO department, Notre Dame lost a key recruit to... wait for it... Houston. Heh.

Maybe ND should join Conference USA?

Also, Florida's ranked high on the recruiting board but they didn't do a whole lot on the offensive side. Just eight recruits on that side of the ball (not counting the kicker) as compared to 14 on the defensive side.

At least they picked up a RB.

OK, now comes the drive of Eli's life. He won't quite go into the pantheon if he gets a TD out of this, but he'll put himself in good position to get there in the next few seasons...

Manningham makes that catch yet Welker couldn't hold on to the floater. We talk about great QB's, but it takes great receivers to make QB's look good...
