Evidently the dookies and tarheels have no 'celebrity' following. Understandable.

FWIW..............The Rupp Arena TASK FORCE released its final report this morning and the plan calls for $250 to $300 million for the renovation. That renovation will include a transformation of Rupp Arena, the Lexington Convention Center, and the Civic Center Shoppes.

The problem is the TASK FORCE doesn’t know where the funding will come from. According to The Herald-Leader, possible sources include new revenue from premium seating, advertising, sponsorship, concert/event promotions, concessions and parking associated with proposed plans. Private funding, federal grants, and tax credits will also be explored.

The timeline for the project is Spring 2015 through Summer 2017.

damn, a new on campus stadium was $400m

I figured that was going to be the problem - in order to make Rupp an attractive options they were going to have to gut it and rebuild it which was going to bankrupt Lexington
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Brooklyn Decker is a huge Carolina fan, and she's way hotter than that skanky old hag Ashley Judd ever thought about being.
I proudly took AFAM 040 at Carolina.

Is that name the "John Smith" of Senegal? Shit, that's like the 4th bball player I've heard of with that name. I think one of them played for UNC.

("skanky old hag"? Slow down, cowboy. She's not "Kiss The Girls" hot anymore, but she can still get it)

There is nothing wrong with Rupp. Christ, the building is only 36 years old. I've been to many December games that are not sold out. What in the hell do they think they need a new one for? There is no money for such an assine boondoggle.

so from these stats i see that other than rebounding, which is a wash, t.p. is better across the board: shooter (check), from deep (check), assists (check), turnovers (check), assist to turnover (check)

i can't see that you and crow have an argument

Tayshaun has had a bigger impact on games than Dunleavy, Jr. By a mile. Stats only tell you a portion of the story.

I don't know if I would be able to find a scout who would entertain putting in the sweat equity to compare those two.

Whoever writes the checks decided that Dun Jr. and Prince were virtually of equal value. Dun Jr. got a little more on the front end, which was probably a mistake, but in the meat of their respective careers, they made almost exactly the same salary. But I'm sure the guys that make those decisions know absolutely nothing about hoops. Certainly not as much as the average message board poster...
