You'd have to do something about Kolb and his contract. Fitzgerald's already pissed that cap issues resulted in the Cards losing Boldin and Breaston as well as some of the notable players they've had on defense such as Dansby and Antonio Smith. Plus, how much longer can Peyton play? Two years? Three? One?

And how good will Peyton be (in Indy or Arizona)? Even players as great as Manning suffer some from long layoffs, especially at their age. Brady came back in '09 following his '08 injury and was good--not as great as this season or in 2007 and 2010 but cerainly above average--and yet the Patriots were merely 10-6.

What would the Cards be next season with Peyton? How 'bout Indy? Especially if they ditch Reggie Wayne and/or Dallas Clark?

Agreed. There have been mutterings about the Jets too, but that seems unlikely as well. I think the Jets are willing to go one more year with Sanchez, given his rookie contract, and then use 2013 as a time to make a salary cap decision. Plus, anyone who takes on Peyton's gonna have to take on his contract--meaning, make him renegotiate it, if they can.
