Rumor is that beginning in 2013, the league will remain at an 8 game schedule, each team will retain one cross divisional rival, and the the remaining game will rotate every season instead of every two seasons (so you see every opponent every opponent in six years, but only 3 of them at home). The Arkansas-South Carolina cross-divisional matchup will be broken up in order to pair up Arkansas and Missouri as cross-divisional rivals, leaving South Carolina and Texas A&M as the last divisional matchup.

There are two 'important' cross-division rivalries IMO - Georgia/Auburn and Alabama/Tennessee. Let's just move Vandy and Missouri to the West and Bama and Auburn to the East...problem solved :).

Tennesee, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Georgia would all bitch and moan about how all the "big boys" are now in the same division. They want to play each other but not compete with each other until the CCG.
