Re: College Football
You beat 6-6 Vandy? Impressive. Didn't see the game. Traveling. Kicked some Commodore ass? Congrats. But I will. Ever forgive you for losing to Tennnessee.

Re: College Football
It was part of the long con, lure Vandy into a false sense of security by getting blown out by the Vols early in the season.

Jimmy Graham just set the NFL single-season record for TEs. he's from Goldsboro, about 28 miles away and he spent a year, maybe 2, in high school in our town, playing basketball for a local Christian school. they fired the coach for recruiting so he left and played his last year at the coach's startup prep school.

Re: College Football
I'm not sure what the NFL can do but they've gotta figure out a way to make teams not ruin the integrity of these final week games. The Texans already went into today's game deciding not to play Foster, Daniels or Jonathan Joseph (just because) but then they actually sit TJ Yates after two series and then play the entire second half with only five starters. The fact that the deciding two-point conversion was botched because some never-used-center was snapping the ball says all that needs to be said.
If I'm the Raiders or Broncos, I'm a little pissed off at that.
The gods will punish the Texans for their limp-wristed approach these last few weeks by bouncing their asses out of the playoffs next week.

I don't think there is anything anyone can do about decisions to sit players when your win or loss has no real bearing on your future prospects.

Re: College Football
Marvin is playing too conservative, kicking on 4th and inches, passing on 3rd and 1
He has no faith in Benson. Is Leanord hurt? He is usually involved in short yardage situations too.

I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Re: College Football
The Bengals aren't getting the benefit of the doubt from the officials either. That said, I agree that Marvin's playing it too close to the vest.
And is there any clearer indication of a team quitting on its coach than what's going in Tampa? Their effort is deplorable. It's so bad that you not only need a coaching change but you need to clear out a number of lockers.

Wow. That was big.
That leads me to ask... do the Bengals bring Benson back next year?

Well, they certainly have enough picks to get a decent replacement if they so choose.Hizzy III wrote:Wow. That was big.

Re: College Football
well there is nothing quite as satisfying as your team losing its way into the playoffs

Benson won't be back. They'll use one of their #1 picks on a back.
The Jets & Cowboys should swap Quarterbacks. And how Rex Ryan survives is beyond me. He's a circus clown.

Re: College Football
I think the SF Harbaugh gets coach of the year but Marvin should be a decent second. They we're considered favorites in the "Suck For Luck" thing yet made the playoffs. Pretty fun to watch considering I thought exactly the same thing.

I'm not from Dudley. My high school was located there, but I always lived at a Goldsboro address. Get it right.
