I was thinking the same thing as I read that. Except for the "sic" at the very end, after "n", I think that's a mistake. I took the "n" to be Twitterspeak for "nigga", esp. in light of the tone of the rest of the tweet. "You ain' (sic) get no spacial (sic) treatment, nigga!"

From an upcoming IC interview with Shammond Williams. I don't remember the incident they're referring to here. Can someone shed light on this?

"One of the low points of your career had to be during a road game at Virginia. There are lots of rumors about what happened. Can you share what happened and what lessons, if any, you took from that experience?

Well, to be honest it wasn’t a low point for me. I feel, even to this day, the perception of what happened—I wouldn’t have changed what I did or how I acted. I’ve never been an individual to have any altercations with anyone. I’ve never been disrespectful to anyone, and I live my life like that, as Christian-like as I possibly can and I always have. Even though it may have cost me first team All-ACC or those kinds of things, I wouldn’t change the person I am, I wouldn’t change the person that I was that day, and I wouldn’t have changed what I did that day because I know in my heart and my teammates know that it was just a misunderstanding at the time, but there is nothing I would go back and change."

After watching the end of the IU/UK game, my first thought was "how long is it going to be before Crotch makes some comment about "only lesser programs storm the court"? I have to admit, it took him far, far longer than I expected...
Can easily understand why that strikes a sour note with you, Hedge. Would me too if UK ever stomed the court... but then we both know they won't, right?

Hedge -- Basically, this was Shammond bitching about Gut's ridiculous alphabetical starting lineup rotation in 1998. Shammond never shot well coming off the bench and he was the only one with the balls to call Gut out on his bullshit way of rewarding his "Six Starters". The old man banished him to the locker room and Williams didn't play another second that day in Charlottesville. Ultimately, I believe this cost us a shot at the National Championship, as Utah jumped out to a big league with Shammond sitting on the bench to start that Final Four game. You'd think the Old Ice Chewer would've tried anything to get Shammond going early in that game, given his horrible shooting performance vs. Arizona in the '97 FF. Instead, he stuck to his ABC's and we got blitzed.

Fuck...That's still the toughest loss I've ever suffered as a fan.

some athletes will say something on twitter in the heat of the moment they later regret, then some athletes just don't give a fuck

meet Chris Early, a Chattanooga Senior guard who isn't a big fan of his team or coach

The bad thing is, he could xfer if he wanted. Now, many coaches won't want him just because of twitter.

I'm sure youre fine now, but I could have put your mind at ease. We look like a team coached by a first year guy who just got diagnosed with Parkinsons.

The fucker Turgeon really screwed this team over to go coach a bunch of fucking scrubs.

My assistant just sent me the following text:

"can't wait to get my hands on you. I am going to do things to you tonight to make you squeal!. Can't wait."

Then about 2 minutes later I got this:

"OMG. Sorry! Wrong person. Please disregard"

I want to have fun with this. How should I respond?

why only girls?
If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it, then how bad of a decision can it really be?

I've found girls work better as personal assistants. That's not important, though. Ideas, man!

For fear of contributing to any future civil actions against you by said personal assistant, AA, I'm gonna recuse myself from this exercise.

If she wants to make you squeal, she need only suggest that Bammer doesn't deserve to be in the title game...
