Re: Uncle Bud
Blah, blah. I dont even have to go past simple counting numbers. Every single player with 3000 hits gets in on the first ballot except two that were punished for off the field reasons, and beyond that its not like Biggio was just some singles hitters that only collected basehits.
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.

He played in the juicer era, therefore the 3K hits are really 2,500.

Re: Uncle Bud
I just bought one of these (Springfield XD .40):
[img2]http://www.fastfirearms.com/images/prod ... 40subc.jpg[/img2]
However, before taking possession of it (it's at the gun shop still), I first need to obtain a hand gun permit from the Sheriff's Department. Before getting that, I need to get my driver's license, and before getting a NC license, I need to get a new social security card, proof of insurance (DL-123) and proof of residency.

I proudly took AFAM 040 at Carolina.

I think lawyers need a social security card to work.

Re: Uncle Bud
just finished mother's day meal at the eCat household.
Bought some thick New York strips at Costco, let them marinate in a butter/garlic/sea salt mix and made a thicker version of it as a paste to put on them when they were on the grill. Made an raised edge aluminum sheet to put in the middle of the lower level of the grill, filled it with hickory chips and turned the grill on high, let the grill get 375 degrees and put the steaks on the upper level, put the garlic butter paste on them and pushed them toward the center. The grill heats up to 400, the hickory chips start smoking and I turn the side burners down on low just keeping the high heat on the chips, let it cook for about 15 minutes flipping only once and minimize raising the grill lid - where the steaks are still pink in the middle but the hickory smoke permeates throughout the meat.
We also made french bread with homemade garlic paste, hummus from tahini and chick peas, brussel sprouts oven baked with olive oil and a simple garden salad.
I spent $35 on the 4 steaks - for that kind of meal I couldn't get one entree for less than $70 at a good steakhouse.
good stuff.

I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

a friend of mine was going to buy a Berretta and was talked into buying a Springfield at the gun shop. He loves it.

I'm pretty sure I saw that guy last week, he or someone else wearing that same outfit was bothering people on the strip.

I wonder what started that? Seems like the guy in the white shirt was just fucking with him at first.
