I don't dislike them, I just thought their routine got old after 5 minutes.
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

I agree. Plus it was in black & white. Plus it was way back.

Yeah. Awesome.

I don't get why the call to Rothstein was necessary, though.

Margaret really needs to die, sooner than later

I'm just playing Devil's Advocate. She and the Priest would feel the wrath.

FWIW, Eli lied.

Homeland is a good assed show too. It is just slightly less satisfying than BE.

I'm kinda pissed - great television but that is a serious void in the show - they just wiped out an entire subset of the show in 3 episodes

It just leaves more room for Lansky, Luciano, Capone and Segal to flesh out their storylines.

fuck all y'all and my wife for calling me at work to tell me, "Damn! Boardwalk Empire! Dayum!"

and when I begged for info (because I don't mind spoilers, in fact, I love them), she said, "You'll have to see it when you get home"

I loved that commercial as a kid, too, eCat. probably because I had all the Johnny West action figures with the horses and wagons and would have been able to re-enact that ad if I only had a dog. stupid cat would chase after the wagon...
complete opposite for me, I think I'm the only person who was sick & tired of Jimmy's antics, they couldn't play tug-of-war on the boardwalk forever, Im glad HBO didn't drag this out any further

Putting a hit on Nucky was one thing, but the beef with Horowitz was completely unnecessary.. just pay the guy or give him his booze, dont start a war

For a moment there at the end I thought Nucky was going to turn his gun on Horowitz, that would have pissed me off beyond belief

not sure how I feel about fleshing out the Lansky, Luciano & Capone stories since there will never be the same level of suspense & uncertainty since we know they become succesful gangsters well into their middle years

show could probably use some new blood if you ask me

Jimmy is actually a real character too, as well as Van Alten. Jimmy went to prison, then became a barber. Van Alten was just a minor blip and never amounted to any real threat. I actually thought Jimmy and Nucky would team up again, and I thought Nucky would shoot his brother. When Jimmy said "I don't have a gun" I knew then he was just ready to die. Nucky became a pretty dislikable character to me last night. I think he is going to have to put a bullet in the head of his wife before the end of next season, and I bet its the Irish thug he employs that does it.

I hope the war buddy of Jimmy avenges his death though. Eli has to die...painfully and slow
The Darkest Hour

Question: what kind of sick fuck wants to see all of humanity getting vaporized one by one by some unidentified entity during the holidays?

Answer: probably a shitload. We're a society of sick fucks, after all.

Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.
