I love when people claim that football is the "pansy", "least tough", etc. sport, when, in fact, the protective gear is used as weapons by the players to make the hits more vicious.

there was a lot of kicking in early football, which probably more resembled rugby than modern football.

the only sport that contends with football in terms of viciousness is Aussie rules, IMO

It could be worse. The genesis of that was an email I sent to Aggie. My signature line in the email is my first name, middle initial, last name, suffix and esq. I guess it's douchey, but oh well. I found the name change to be funny.

I guess I am not a fan of one person making the decision what is uniquely part of every post that one of us makes. It can easily be abused.
