O'Neal dealt with major Diabetes issues for a long time. He knew the timer was ticking. Still sad.

Anybody else here ever seen Party Down? I got Starz recently and they have been airing repeats of it. Holy shit was that show funny. I can't believe it didn't survive more than two seasons. Of course, I guess the fact that I didn't even know it existed until after it was canceled probably didn't help.

So I finally got around to watching the mid-season finale of Walking Dead and...
I was honest to god heartbroken at the end when Rick had to shoot the little girl they were looking for. As soon as all the others were dead and I heard one last voice, I had that feeling of oh no, not her. I do like how Shane finally snapped and said enough of this mickey mouse horseshit and started taking charge of their situation. He might be a little bat shit crazy but he makes perfect sense right now. I love his line when Rick kept shouting enough as he was shooting the one zombie chick held by old man denial. "You're right. Enough is enough. " Walks right up and BLAM, one to the head. That was awesome. What they did to the walkers in the barn had to be done and old man denial will probably go all spirtual bat shit crazy now which will just piss me off even further. But still heartbroken about the little girl.

And if she was in the barn, someone put her there, so you would think old man would have known that someone put her in there and then all of sudden a bunch of people show up looking for a little girl. If he knew and was hiding it, then he deserves one in the pan also.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

I haven't watched it yet but my son told me how the last episode went

On one hand I'm pissed they went that route, but on the other hand its damn good compelling television, you know everyone was talking about it the next day.

watched the last Walking Dead yesterday.

The last 15 minutes of it may have been the best of the series yet. Unfortunately the first 45 was complete dogshit.

Yeah, Bklyn. Got to the wake and thought it was real.

Great show. Hate the way Omar got it, though. Would have preferred to see some biblical retribution.

AA - I agree re: Omar - but I've that that argument with the good folks in here before and we are the only ones that feel that way.

I understand it - doesnt mean its what I wanted to see or how he should have gone out.

Exactly, Nostron. I know that Omar getting shot that way is the way many get popped. But he wasn't the normal corner thug. Just like it's likely that he woulda died from that jump outta a 4th story window (or been knocked out and shot up) not to mention that the Barksdale people would have had someone snipe him from a second story window when he walked into the low rise courtyard long ago in "real life".
