Woof. What an asskicking that would be. Saban would be doing the Lord's work though.
I proudly took AFAM 040 at Carolina.

Of course, they were actually caught three weeks ago. But Richt sure wasn't going to suspend them for the Florida or Auburn games. No, they will sit out the sure-win, meaningless game.

LMAO.
Worried?
Of course I'm worried about UGA.

Duh.
Nick's Revenge Tour could be complete (provided we beat Auburn).
Oh, you'll beat Auburn all right. We'll be the aperatif. The SEC East winner will be the palate cleanser. Okie State will be the main course.

And not just for Nick. If it happens that way, Bama has scoreboard on the entire SEC again.

I am starting to think South Carolina will go 7-1 in the SEC and lose to Clemson. I'll be disappointed if Georgia also goes 7-1 and misses the SECCG, but it will be a marked improvement from last year. We will see. I am not confident about Auburn, so it may be moot.

As for the ganga smoking, I personally don't care. Richt is catching hell because they may have known about the kids smoking weed before the Florida game. The AD said the kids were tested when they heard and the results were not back before the Florida game had already happened. To me, that's fine. To the spankers on the radio, it smells like they covered it up so they'd be suspended for New Mexico State instead of Florida. So, tell me why that is not the smart play?

The real concern is Isaiah Crowell. The kid has the talent and confidence to succeed, but so far, his attitude and judgment stinks. I hope Richt can reach this kid and get him headed in the right direction.

DDAL, you are all over the place. You picked the gamecocks to lose in Knoxville...in the face of stark reality.

South Carolina will get spanked at Arkansas this Saturday. Petrino will demand and will get the kind of performance from his team that they didn't give the last two weeks. SOS otoh knows he is waving a short stick with his green qb and no Lattimore. It won't be pretty.... 35/38 to 10.

Puter you are right. I am all over the place. The honest truth is that I truly believed that UT had it in them to bite someone. I was wrong. South Carolina's defense is very good, but the losses on offense are bound to catch up to them. They do have Alshon Jeffery, so they are not punchless. I am just not sure which team that has been on the ropes the last few weeks comes up with the big W. If the Gamecocks manage a win in Fayetteville, then I like their chances against the hapless Gators.

That game shows why Richt shrewdly suspended Crowell et al today, and not last week or next week.

I see the Dawgs are an early 12.5 favorite.

How bout dem Dawgs?! It's Great to be a Georgia Bulldog! SEC East Champs!! Our Defense is legit and getting better. I am so excited for Atlanta. I was so dismissive of our chances that I'll be watching the title game from St. Croix instead of my seats at the GA Dome. Oh well, Cruzan rum and Caribe beer will get the job done.

I'm in a weird place about the BCS. Georgia got snubbed for the MNC in 2007 because they didn't win the SEC or play for it. To let Bama in is hypocritical even though I believe they are the best team in the country. I guess having a better kicker would and that HB Option play would have made it moot, but the Tide lost, so now what?

If Bama does, in fact, get a rematch, then could Georgia play in the Sugar or would the SEC not get a third team?

How can you compare Georgia in 2007 to Bama in 2011? Bama has one loss: to #1 LSU in OT by 3. In 2007, Georgia had two losses: To a 6-6 SoCar team at home by 4 and on the road to Tennessee by 21.

Anyway, the two teams with the top BCS scores go.

"Controversy: Michigan fans won't soon forget how fickle voters defected from their team. After losing to Ohio State, the Wolverines were still comfortably ahead of both USC and Florida in both the Coaches and Harris polls. But that soon changed.

Entering the final week of the regular season, Michigan was ahead of Florida by 86 points in the Harris Poll and 40 points in the Coaches Poll. But after Florida's win over Arkansas, the Gators went ahead of Michigan by 38 points in the Harris Poll (a swing of 114 points) and 26 in the Coaches Poll (a swing of 66 points). In both cases, the voters were determined to avoid a Michigan-Ohio State rematch. With Florida and Michigan dead even in the computer rankings, the voters' wish carried the day."
