Wow. I guess I struck a nerve with the "bush put bin laden on the back burner" bit. I forget that some people still carry a torch for dubya around here.

As it stands today, I'll be voting for the magic underwear guy.

I may not be as excited as some of you assclowns about that prospect...I was holding out for Christie to the bitter end. Ah well.

toe, keep me up to date wrt any Romney-rallies or Mitt 'n Greets that are scheduled down this way, okay?

"The man's words speak for themselves."

Funny, at no time in that video did he say that we had ever stopped looking for OBL. You and all the other irrational Bush-haters hear what you want to hear.
Deep thought of the day: "I was adopted. I thank my birth mother every day for not aborting me (although I wouldn't doubt her decision if she did)."

Heh. Funny how you like to accuse others of twisting words and being intentionally obtuse.

I never said anybody stopped looking. I merely said that dubya put OBL "on the back burner."

n back burner: reduced priority, a subject no longer of immediate concern

"we're not focusing on one person...he's either in a cave, or not alive...he's been marginalized...his government is destroyed...I don't spend that much time on him.."

Back burner all the way. heh

I was an unabashed Hitlary supporter. And who doubts that she would have had more success as prez on several fronts moreso than BHO. And there would have never been a mcconnell/boehner/cantor cabal bent on blocking her every move either.

Looks to me like a lot of Rs here are going to have to eventually get behind their second (or 3rd, or 4th etc) choice as well. Hopefully things will come together for the Mittster. I seriously don't think he'll be weighed down by high expectations or over-exuberance, either as candidate or as the new leader of the free world.

Wow, more child molestation by Occupiers. I'm still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, though...

BTW, Egypt was sooo stable before...lol. Good one.
Yes, it was. Mubarak was a thug, but he was a friendly to the US and Israel kind of thug. Now he's gone. He has been replaced by the Islamic Brotherhood, which openly announces its intentions to impose Sharia law in Egypt. Is that the kind of "stability" that you are fantasizing about in the current Middle East?

In fact, what country in the Middle East do you consider more stable today than before the Pax Bushius? Name a single one. Tick nailed it when he referred to, "...some people still carry a torch for dubya around here."

In case you are thinking that Libya is "more stable now," their new government says it will make Sharia the main source of law there too:

In case you were thinking Afghanistan is "more stable now," that POS President of theirs says that, if the US attacks Pakistan, Afghanistan will rise to Pakistan's defense.

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142 ... 01968.html

Is this an example of the Middle East being "more stable now"?

Yeah. Libya will be worse without Qaddafi than it was with him.

Whether you are shot for disagreeing with the secular Arab dictator, or shot for being a female who wanted to learn to read, in defiance of elderly bearded Ayatollahs quoting the Quran, you're still dead.

No improvement at all, whatsoever, in any way.

it's all part of the plan. Get the 'radicals' running everything over there and we have an excuse to nuke their asses off and collateral damage be damned. Brilliant!

Iran's Quds Force was plotting to assassinate a Saudi diplomat ON US SOIL. That Bush hating rag Fox news even says so:

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/10/11/ir ... lot-in-us/

That's a sure sign that Iran is another Middle Eastern country that is getting "more stable now."

Tunisia's Islamic Party claims victory in today's elections there. But don't worry: they will only impose "moderate" Sharia law.

http://newsok.com/early-signs-in-tunisi ... iddle-east

It must be that "moderate" part that will make Tunisia "more stable now."

Funny: when W invaded Iraq 9 years ago. I distinctly remember that when he prophesied a new force sweeping through the Middle East, it was supposed to be Democracy.
