Incorrect. Tea Partiers have jobs, bathe regularly, don't publically urinate, would pass a random drug test, and have a basic grasp of economics in the real world.

They don't hate Jews either.

Everyone hates Jews. They killed Jesus, you know.

I think I posted a story about the one non-racist teapartier.

even?
Heh, tick proves the point I was making with my post. He still thinks the tea partiers are racist because of a few signs having Obama look like a monkey; therefore, he has a tizzy and labels the movement racist. I'm just saying that the same rationale would say all Occupiers are child molesters, but I don't really believe that, unlike your held fast belief that the Tea Party is flamed by racial hatred of the President...

Truth is, I understand the hatred of Wall Streeters by the Occupiers. Unfortunately, the protesters aren't smart enough to differentiate between wealth buttressed by gov't bailouts and lobbying (this includes the man from Omaha) to honest to goodness wealth incurred by thousands of Americans who built wealth from their businesses, etc. So we lump them all as "rich" and punish them...

"...unlike your held fast belief that the Tea Party is flamed by racial hatred of the President..."

I doubt that 'tick (or most liberals) really believes that. It's just a tactic to put people on the defensive and keep them from having to talk about real issues.

Tea Partiers have jobs, bathe regularly, don't publically urinate, some would pass a random drug test, and like most people in America have no basic grasp of economics in the real world (most think Joe the Plumber knew what he was talking about).

Context, sardis. I followed that quote with another one that started with "Seriously." Meaning what came before was not serious. Naturally I don't think the tea party movement is racist and have certainly never said so. Hell, the movement began before oprama was ever on the radar.

Sad that old sardis - bright light of the pnn far right - would have to have that pointed out.

What Wall Street Protesters Have Right

If you can look past the hippie overtones, what the protests are really saying is that we need good jobs, honest banks and fair-and-square politics. It's hard to disagree with any of that.

It is fun (and fair) to point out that these people are not exactly the kind of folks that any of us should take advise from about...well...anything, really. But the real issue is that the "solutions" they are suggesting (in the rare instances where they are even coherent) are likely to only make the current mess worse.

...unless, of course, the idea of a world where we're all eating out of dumpsters appeals to you.

Nothing like a heavy dose of relativism to explain just about anything.

Forget solutions. Some of these conglomerates deserve to have somebody outside their door screaming "Shame!" into a bullhorn. Somewhere in your heart of hearts you surely believe that.
