Besides me, who around here said they would never vote for Romney? It'll be interesting to see Rush (and some on here) talking about how great Romney after saying they will "never" vote for him.

Ok, change "some" to "at least one." If you are the only one or if there are others (I'm not going back through the posts to find out), the point is still the same.
My evangelical buddies who have been railing (sp?) against Mormons for years and hate Romney. I love talking to them. Just a liberal. Cult. Will never vote for him. Will just stay home, etc. He'll be the nominee (primarily because Perry blew it imo).

Deep thought of the day: "I was adopted. I thank my birth mother every day for not aborting me (although I wouldn't doubt her decision if she did)."

I am all for a protest. It's American. Hell, it could be argued that it is patriotic. But...you need to have an idea of why you are protesting and at least some idea of what you would like changed.

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread
To be clear, my distaste for Romney has nothing to do his religion. It has everything to do with his flip-floppery on abortion and gun control, and his liberal views on man-made global warming, and government-run health care. His religion has nothing to do with it in my book.Owlman wrote:Ok, change "some" to "at least one." I said before that I could see myself voting for any of the candidates except Romney. I don't know much about Huntsman, but I could vote for him, and he's a Mormon. In fact, I would have an easier time voting for Hunstman than I would for Perry.

The latest poll shows Cain surging past Romney to take the lead.

And Cain's support is strongest among Tea Party people - those hopeless racists whom liberals believe will never support a black candidate:Cain checks in as the first choice of 27 percent of Republican voters in the poll, followed by former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney at 23 percent and Perry at 16 percent. After those three, it’s Texas Rep. Ron Paul at 11 percent, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich at 8 percent, Bachmann at 5 percent and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman at 3 percent.
Cain’s numbers are sky-high among Republican primary voters. Fifty-two percent view him favorably, versus just 6 percent who see him unfavorably. Among Tea Party supporters, his favorable/unfavorable score is 69 percent to 5 percent. And among Republicans who identify themselves as “very conservative,” it’s 72 percent to 2 percent.

The R campaign slogan: "Our black guy is better than your black guy."Owlman wrote:Obama versus Cain.
great political theater.
Actually, that's just a pipe dream. The REAL R campaign slogan will be: "Our robotic candidate is somewhat less liberal than your extremely liberal black guy."
That's a winning campaign theme for sure.

Their campaign should be, "Vote for our black guy or else we're gonna fuck over your black guy and your country for another 4 years."

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread
That is extremely insensitive of her. Doesn't she know that millions of Americans are unemployed right now because of this administration? What makes her son so special?
