I can't believe how much I dig Yes. I really can't. The fact that no one knows what the hell they're talking about is probably the appeal. In this, they're very much like Steely Dan for me. You really have to work to figure out the lyrics. I've also developed a much deeper appreciation for Super Tramp. Oh, a lot of their stuff comes across as repetitive but when they hit it, they hit it good.

I say all of this and tomorrow I'll be bobbing my head to either EW&F or A Tribe Called Quest. I'm goofy like that.

I love Steely Dan's lyrics. They have some of the most cleverly written lines. I love written words where every single word fits. That's how I feel about Steely Dan. Queen's "Killer Queen" is also a good example. As for Yes, here is my favorite of theirs. I can listen to this back to back. Great song.
