...followed immediately by yet another busted defensive play that allows a long TD play for the opponent.
Deep thought of the day: "I was adopted. I thank my birth mother every day for not aborting me (although I wouldn't doubt her decision if she did)."

And now we've bobbled the kickoff and Buffalo gets it right back.

And now we lose a kickoff. Buffalo gets it back.

Funny how our coaches change, yet we still can't tackle and our special are anything but special. Unless you being being especially aweful as being special.

I'm increasingly concerned about our team speed. We've seen at least twice where an opponent's wide receiver caught a ball and ran it all the way in with no hint anyone from Tennessee could catch him. I don't think we've had anyone open enough yet where they could catch and break downfield. However, I'm not getting the sense anyone can do it.

We better recruit well.

Fortunately we have Tyler and Da'Rick, so Poole being a klutz doesn't cost us a TD.

Up big at the half. Still see a lot of room for improvement, but hard to complain about the result so far.

Excited about Devrin Young's performance. He dropped a pass that could have been a nice gain, but he also had a big punt return.

Da'Rick really looks like he has stepped up. Watching the way he's playing today really makes you wonder what this offense could have been with both him and Hunter in there all season.

Can Pallardy not make it through one game without a kick-off out of bounds?

I ended up going outside and cutting up a downed tree as I had a family member to help. It was a good day to do it. How did we do in the second half?

Good and bad. The defense finished strong. Special teams struggled. Devrin Young fumbled a kick-off return. We allowed another blocked punt, which sucks ass -- 2nd game in a row we have had one blocked. On the other hand, Darr picked it up and rumbled for a first down, which extended the drive. Tom Smith came on in cleanup and looked pretty good. He was one of several other new freshman who played in the second-half. Cameron Clear got on the field and committed a holding penalty that erased a first down conversion. I don't ever remember watching any game (much less a Tennessee game) where a team played more freshman.

3-1 for the first time in several years. Bad news is UGA looks to be improved from how they looked at the beginning of the season. It's gonna' be a looong October.

I think in order for us to show some sort of improvement, we need to beat one of our next four opponents. Or, at least come close.

LSU and 'bama will tear us a new one. We can forget about those two. We can beat South Carolina. I'm not so sure about GA, I'm having a tough time drawing a bead on them. We can play them tough.

If we somehow go 2-2 in Oct, Dooley will have shown he is the man.

Speaking of Carolina...

They are in a dogfight with Auburn right now. About a minute left in the game, with the ball, and down by three!!

SC and UGA both have more talent and experience than we do so if we win it will be an upset.

Heck we could be significantly better than last year and still go 0-4 over the next 4 games.
