We were in a correction anyway and no different than in covid and, then again in 2022. If Trump waited for some committee to decide which tariffs were useful and which weren't it would never get done, so go ahead and put across the board tariffs, now, and then adjust backwards after figuring out which are bad and which are good. Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, India, South Korea, Australia, the U.K., Israel, Argentina, Canada and Mexico are all now negotiating. The news will only be good form here on out. Vietnam and Cambodia will still be making t-shirts and sneakers, Japan will have to do more manufacturing in US, and Mexico and Canada will have to negotiate a deal where the US has leverage.
