At this point, ONLY the republicans could fuck up as the democrats have zero power and can't do anything. There is nothing for the democrats to fuck up with the exception of the next election. And as I see it, there are only two democrats that are doing anything to try and increase their brand enough to actually win elections. And of those two democrats, only one is an elected official and he is a Governor, not federal. The other is an almost billionaire comedian and a talk show host.

I mean, do whatever. I agree that someone needs to lose a job over the text messages. But in the end, no one will care about any of that in a couple of weeks. That is because no one in this country believes that anyone involved in that text message scandal was a traitor, was corrupt, or was willfully trying to hurt anyone or destroy anyone's career. Nor were they trying to benefit their now potentially ruined career. It was just a moment of incompetence.

Well, you either have a real bad memory or you're just delusional. And this isn't something new, anybody who has been paying attention knew exactly what Trump was all the way back in the 80's. Just a blowhard narcissist who was also a terrible businessman who had to declare bankrupcy multiple times. I'm no simp and nobody had to tell me that, I knew it when I was a fucking teenager and everything Trump has ever done since then has proven me right.

I'll give him credit for using his name to get money time and time again, only to blow it when it came down to actually running the business. Then he lucks up and gets the one gig that he was perfectly suited for, a D-list "celebrity" hosting a bullshit "reality" show (with stints on WWE Wrestling, which again is exactly who he is, a charlatan peddling cheap entertainment for rubes, which is all he's ever been and still is). I've always known what Trump is and yes it chapped my ass that he got elected president and then lived up to exactly what I knew was going to happen. I guess this is what happens when a highly intelligent articulate black man gets elected president, the deplorables' heads exploded and Trump is their (your) revenge. Enjoy...

I don't really care if they are allowed to play or they're banned from playing. Hell, I wouldn't care if the Second Amendment was repealed tomorrow. I'm not going to march in the streets for it and I don't care if it stays in place. Now which one of those do you think is a bigger issue that warrants concern? The Second Amendment, I'm sure. So just imagine how somebody who doesn't give a shit one way or another about the Second Amendment must feel about transgender participation in amateur sports. Yet you bring it up all the time like it's the most pressing issue facing the republic. Why do you care so much? Probably the same reason some folks didn't want the coloreds to go to school with the whites. And even if it's not that you are personally weirded out by transgenders, the issue of them playing sports with the opposite sex affects like three dozen people, maybe. Can't you think of anything more pressing to worry about than that?

I don't have to choose what my priority is. I initially started this out as a joke but then you are trying to down play it and going all in on its a non issue.

The thing is, you know its a losing proposition, so apparently your only option is to marginalize it, yet the democratic party is coming in at 26% now. So by all means, keep talking about how its a non issue. I hope all democrats take that opinion while they continue to allow it for only the "handful of people" it impacts.
