Re: Florida State Seminoles
they act like that is some big gotcha against Leavitt. Obama put him in the position he is in today. She isn't wrong.
all these judges backing each other, its like coaches. You'll never see one them say one of them needs to be removed.
Funny how all of them have an immediate family member that is in a conflict of interest position that supports their ruling.
also, they might need to brush up on their executive branch knowledge, for example Judge Chuang who has directed the President to reinstate people to USAID
In addition to finding that the dismantling of USAID by Musk and DOGE was likely unconstitutional, Chuang found that they lack authorization by Congress to take steps toward abolishing the agency.
"There is no statute that authorizes the Executive Branch to shut down USAID," he wrote.
The judge added that Congress alone has the constitutional authority to take action to eliminate agencies it has created.
That sounds great, except Congress didn't establish USAID, Kennedy, did - by executive order
Established in 1961 by President John F. Kennedy to unite several foreign assistance organizations and programs under one agency, statute law places USAID under "the direct authority and policy guidance of the Secretary of State".

ALL federal government agencies are under the policy directive of the executive branch. ALL. The people that run them, they are hired and fired EXCLUSIVELY by the guy in the White House. POTUS is their boss, NOT congress, NEVER a judge. And no judge ANYWHERE can order that a fired employee must be re-hired. All they can do, is order that some pay (perhaps ALL their pay) be granted, not a job.
We have 4 full years of youtubes that I can paste showing senators tearing into Mayorkas's asshole, in Senate hearings. And all of those hearings, were for naught. Nothing changed, Mayorkas never altered his actions or changed his work as director. The hearings meant not one bloody thing since Mayorkas worked solely for the POTUS. That was it, just dog and pony shows, all. Only the POTUS could remove him. On Jan 20th of this year, Trump removed him.
We have federal agencies mostly because congress fails to do THEIR JOB. And what is their job? Write laws and regulate. That is their job. Congress writes a bill and it is signed into law, the POTUS MUST enforce it. That is in the Constitution. Well, congress can't fucking do that because the 435 house reps and 100 senators are more interested in getting re-elected to their job instead of actually DOING their job. And to write a bill to be signed into federal law, they run the risk of alienating a significant percentage of their voting base that they depend on re-election. So, they create an agency instead to do their regulating for them, an agency that has NO CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY to make a law. Their regulations are solely and entirely, POLICY.
And federal regulation policy is changed at the whim of the President. That is because appointed bureaucrats work for the President, not congress. If anyone has a problem with that, demand that congress write a fucking bill and have it signed into LAW!

Re: Florida State Seminoles
Congress does have massive power here. Congress writes all the checks. That is right there in the Constitution. Congress pays everyone. Trump can spin up an agency under executive order but no one will be doing any work in it unless congress agrees to pay them! And if everyone was really pissed off at POTUS Trump for every action he was Constitutionally allowed to take, they could call their congressman and demand that
- Congress write some laws to stop the actions POTUS is taking,
- change existing laws that POTUS is enforcing, or
- defund all the agencies that are enforcing the policy positions this POTUS is taking

liberals burning down car dealerships, actively damaging cars owned by Americans
Jamie White, a reporter for Infowars was shot outside his home, now liberals are swatting people and when they can't swat them, they send pizzas to people's address in Jamie White's name
For the party that acts like they have the moral high ground on every issue, they are pretty good at representing the worst of humanity.
the daily show audience cheered when they showed Tesla dealerships burning, Jimmy Kimmel "wink wink" "please don't burn Teslas"
just horrible people

If the dissolution of the Dept. of Education means all the financial aid my son had qualified for goes away, so too, are some of the folks responsible for it. That's definitely one of my lines in the sand. If nothing changes, then by all means, carry on.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
there will probably be some disruptions as they switch over but this isn't about taking away the money to fund education
its about getting all the layers of bureaucracy out of it. Now it may very well turn into the same thing at the state level, but Trump has said repeatedly their intent is to continue funding but move the administration to the state level.

What is swatting? And what is purpose of sending pizzas to someone in Jamie White's name? As a veiled (or maybe not so veiled) threat? I don't get it...

Libbies are the biggest threat to our country's stability. A guy like Alex Jones is literally almost normal compared to today's libs.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
The infowars guy was murdered outside his apartment in Austin, but I dont know or never heard if that was just Austin crime or related to some politics craziness.
Swatting is where someone calls the police with a spoofed number and tells them some story like you've murdered your wife, or are shooting up the place, or holding your kids hostage, or threatening people with a gun and so the police have to show up ready for a shootout to your house in the wee hours of the morning to check out the call. As far as I can see, I think the pizza thing I think is related, to where once they've already swatted you or if you just fear being swatted, then they can order late night pizza to your residence just so someone unexpectedly knocks at your door late at night and makes you think its happening. Having the pizza delivered in a murdered guys name is just extra sauce on the threat.

Does that include those who support letting parents chop off their kids’ dicks at a young age?

Shit, I am waiting for the day when nursing homes are full of transgenders with Alzheimer's and one dude is running around screaming "WHERE'S MY DICK AT!!?!! WHAT HAPPENED TO IT!!!"
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Thanks. I'm tired of reading shit on Facebook. I think Trump has no real plan and it all could easily backfire but until I see it happening in my life or those around me, I'll withhold judgment and see how it plays out.eCat wrote: ↑Thu Mar 20, 2025 8:51 am there will probably be some disruptions as they switch over but this isn't about taking away the money to fund education

I don't get these people...at all
I think Charlize Theron and Megan Fox both have multiple children that are "transgender". Like its a status symbol, and there is no shortage of brain dead women who see it that way
