if you say so counselor
Feminism: Eve eats ALL the apples, gives God the middle finder when He confronts her, and has the serpent serve Adam with an injunction ordering him to both stay away from her AND to provide her food and shelter because he dragged her out of the Garden.

Saw this on Twitter regarding Jordan and LeBron
One created millions of NBA fans , one drove many away
There is no debate on who the goat is

I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Only those who never saw Jordan play call LeBron the goat…

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
I learned tonight that the SoCon predates the ACC and SEC. In fact, in1922 the conference had Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Maryland, Miss State, NC, NC State, Tennessee, Florida, Vanderbilt, LSU, Tulane. The ultimate super conference.
SEC broke off in 1932 and the ACC in 1953.

And yet, State fires the coach who beat Hubert for the ACC Championship with ZERO elite recruits, and we keep this imbecile.DooKSucks wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 5:36 pm Hubert Davis’ second half coaching cost Carolina as much as anything, and Dook being red hot in the first ten minutes despite being closely guarded didn’t help.
In the end, it all falls on Hubert
1) he is the cause of the poor coaching
2) Dook being able to get those shots off was because they are bigger and more athletic. That’s recruiting, and that’s Hubert’s fault too.

Yep. The 1924 North Carolina White Phantoms National Champions beat Kentucky 41-20 in that old Southern Conference Tournament.sardis wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 10:55 pm I learned tonight that the SoCon predates the ACC and SEC. Re: Ostensibly Hoops
UK was originally the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Kentucky, so if Kentucky had a nickname before Wildcats they were probably the Kentucky Aggies.

For the Record
The UNC “White Phantoms”?
Daily Tar Heel, 5 February 1933
The UNC men’s basketball team was known informally as the “White Phantoms” from the 1920s through 1950s. It wasn’t an official nickname — they’ve always been the Tar Heels — but White Phantoms was a popular term for the team, especially among sportswriters.
The origins of the nickname are not entirely clear. A Daily Tar Heel article from 1965 attributed the nickname to Atlanta sportswriter Morgan Blake, who first used it after witnessing the quiet, quick play of the team in a tournament. At the time, the team also wore all-white uniforms, which probably contributed to the nickname.
The name originated in an era when sportswriters were known for their colorful language and creative headlines. UNC was not the only team with an unofficial sports-section nickname: N.C. State was the “Red Terrors,” Duke was the “Blue Imps,” and the Carolina freshman team was known as the “Tar Babies.” Most of these informal names have now faded from use, though a few have remained (like the “Wahoos” of the University of Virginia).
It’s hard to pin down exact dates for when the nickname was used, but a keyword search of the digitized Daily Tar Heel archives gives us a good idea. The first use appears in late 1925, around the time that UNC won the Southern Conference tournament in Atlanta (which supports the idea that it originated with an Atlanta sportswriter). It appears to have faded from use by 1951, possibly under the encouragement of the athletic department, which wanted to promote the consistent use of Tar Heels for all of the UNC teams.

That's Bynum Hall (formerly Bynum Gymnasium), the first home of Carolina Basketball. It still sits in the heart of campus. I stopped and took a picture the day after we won the National Championship in 2017. It was the University cashier's office when I was at Carolina in the 80s.

Ol' Basil is hiding a boner with that medicine ball. Kentucky apparently played in a funeral home, too.
They're so white it looks like 'KENTUCKY' has been tattooed across their chests.
