Now Greenland and Panama Canal, I think he is serious. Anyone paying attention in Europe would understand and support why he wants Greenland. It would result in cheaper heating fuel for them and less reliance on Russia. Its win/win for the US and Europe (except for the Dutch)

Alternatively he could mandate that the federal government only allow sugar sweetened soft drinks that contain cane sugar along with all military bases, public schools, etc. Then in a "free market" Cok could decide what they wanted to do.

California really shot themselves in the foot with the insurance industry, requiring that any insurance increases are approved by the insurance commissioner, who as a political wonk, refused to allow increases to address the growing concerns of limited water and fire hazards. 7 out of 12 major insurance companies pulled out of California and the residents relied on the state funded insurance regulatory agency which in a report 2 years ago said they were at risk for several billion of which they had $321m in reserve.

This will be devastating to the California taxpayer who will have to address this and all these "in our house we ...." leftist are suddenly coming to terms with lack of government planning, DEI hiring practices and looting. Nothing like watching your million dollar home burn up to turn you into a conservative. Admittedly I believe California was more purple than blue when they were locking down insurance.
