just got an email from ON3 saying Arkansas is expected to announce Calipari as their head coach tomorrow

I have to believe the contract is going to be for at least 6 years and will be >$48m
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

UK fans are going to throw out some big names

Oats will be one of them but he has an $18m buyout.

Hurley will be one. He'll listen then use it to get a $1.5m a year raise from UConn.

I'd happily take Donovan even though he may be washed as a college coach

but that kid that hit 10 3 pointers from Oakland had as much to do with Cal leaving as Tyson.

Fascinating. That's who I would hire 10/10 times, assuming all the Big Blue Pipedream guys like Hurley, etc say no. I see more UK fans on X saying good things about Buzz Williams though, than Scott Drew. UK fans would hate Buzz Williams. I can only assume they want him because all they know about him is hes had some success and they really love that he has a folksy nickname and jumps and dances around in flashy three piece suits, or whatever. I can't imagine UK fans liking his personality and how he runs the program and deals with the media on a day to day, year to year basis.

If only there was a coach out there experienced with putting the pieces of a shattered program back together and then winning a national championship there. Probably doesnt exist.

Can’t imagine Oats wanting to go to Kentucky unless it doubles his salary (and he’s currently top 5 in contract $$). It’s like going to Alabama football. The expectation is you win every game.
