Re: Uncle Bud
I've given up soft drinks for like the 20th time in my life
but the only other drink I like is milk which I try not to drink a lot of
so I'm drinking water, but I fucking hate just drinking water. A few years ago I did this and dehydrated myself to the point my urine was brown.
What I've decided to do is just a 1:1 replacement approach. Every time I take a piss, I drink about 20oz of water. Its more a medicinal approach than anything else - whether I'm thirsty or not is irrelevant - I piss, I drink
It seems to be working, my urine doesn't have much color at all and it helps with feeling full.
I'll see how far I can ride this out when hot weather hits

I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

“but I fucking hate just drinking water.”
Me too. I drink a pint of hot water first thing in the morning and then no more plain water the rest of the day. Usually make a quart of herbal tea when I get to work and nurse that the rest of the day, and a couple of cans of flavored carbonated water (not sweetened, even with zero calorie sweeteners). Try the flavored carbonated water, there’s a lot to choose from and I’m sure you can get a good deal at Costco..

Re: Uncle Bud
I'll look at it next time I am there
but this water replacement approach seems to be working pretty well.
One thing its doing it not make me want to go out to eat as often because I don't want to order water with the meal, however strange that sounds

No problem. If the Minneapolis city counsel creates legislation like this, then Uber and Lyft are gone. Uber and Lyft are not in the "hourly pay" business. If they were, they would just hire drivers as employees. That is not their business model. Their business model is to exploit migrants and felons who can't get real jobs who are then forced to become self employed, medallion-less, taxi drivers. So of they go this way then the migrants and felons of Minneapolis have one less way to make money, lawfully.

Feminism: Eve eats ALL the apples, gives God the middle finder when He confronts her, and has the serpent serve Adam with an injunction ordering him to both stay away from her AND to provide her food and shelter because he dragged her out of the Garden.

Re: Uncle Bud
This was pretty good
Most churches simply can't have this level of frank conversation. Because someone "in authority" would work to get these people kicked out of the church for even having this discussion. Which is sad. But its pretty spot on for young men and women.

Re: Uncle Bud
I have never succeeded in going to just water (and alcohol) but it's easier in the warmer months. If I drink just water for a few days, I'll start to prefer it but all it takes is a sip of Mountain Dew and I leave the water behind until I do it all over again

Why don't you just get that carbonation contraption and make your own fizzy water?

Re: Uncle Bud
I think I have perfect bone in pork butt.
That's not a sexual position, its food
You can pick up a bone in pork butt that will feed like 8 people for less than $20.
mix up a dry rub of ground mustard, cayenne pepper (go light, then add to your specific taste), garlic, paprika, lowrys seasoned salt -
coat the meat with olive oil, then put the dry rub on, put the meat in your oven pot (I use a dutch oven) fat side up so the fat juices will soak into the meat. Pour about a 1/4 cup of olive oil in the pot on side so you don't wash off the seasoning, then add in some minced garlic.
Cook it at 350 degrees for 3 hours for anything less than 5 pounds, 3.5 hours for anything over 5 pounds with the cover on the pot
about 20 minutes before its ready, boil up some of those small golden potatoes and after 20 minutes mash them up, skin on with a 1/2 cup of milk and a 1/4 stick of salted butter.
for green vegetables I usually get a California blend of frozen vegetables and steam them in the bag with another 1/4 stick of butter afterwards.
The juices at the bottom of the pot thicken up and almost have a gravy consistency, which even goes better with the potatoes
If you haven't done something similar to this, trust me , you'll like it
You can feed a huge family for around $20
