Meh, we had a letdown after beating Duke. Clemson is a pretty good team (they were ranked earlier in the year) and they had a lot of shots falling in that won't on other nights. In fairness, they played pretty bad for stretches, took some awful shots, and we took advantage by cutting double digit leads to 2-3 point leads (and even tied it up with under 5 minutes to go). We just couldn't put it away, which is somewhat troubling, but it seemed like, in contrast to Clemson, we had a lot of bunnies and layups that didn't fall. I'd say I'm more perplexed than worried. Certainly would've liked to solidify our grip on the ACC but I think we'll be alright. They played hard and didn't quit, just didn't quite get it done. Still a refreshing change from last year when we were never in it and never threatened. Oh yeah, and #4 for Clemson looks like Pat from SNL...
I want someone's ass blistered in the middle of Thanksgiving Square.

Stackhouse had an opportunity to salvage his season and put a dagger in Calipari at the same time.
instead he got ran out of his own gym and it will probably cost him his job.

the fact that it WOULD solve the attendance problem with the NBA is a perfect example of why serious, competitive, women's sports are.... well... not revenue generating. There are only two questions that need answering: who pays to watch women's professional sports and (most importantly) WHY do those people pay to watch them? Perhaps a careful examination of why women's MMA were so lucrative and entertaining when Miesha Tate, Ronda Rousey, and Holy Holm was there, and why its near worthless today, you don't need to have a PhD in gender studies to come to the correct conclusion.
