I can't quit get my mind around that, hoping it's fake b/c if it's not it'll shatter my understanding of the rotation of the earth with regard to the position of the sun. Unless it's at one of the poles, then I'd have to think about it, but actually seems even less likely at the poles...

The terminator goes over all of us every day twice. Its called sunset and sunrise. There is no line where you look one way and its dark and you look the other and its light. The line goes over you sometime in the middle of dusk or dawn but you cannot tell when. Also, if there WAS a stark line it would actually zoom past that ship at a few hundred to a thousand miles an hour depending on how close the boat was to the equator, it wouldnt just stay above the boat for a minute to take that video.

That's a video of sunrise but its still pretty dark and just beginning to brighten in that direction. The impression of "daylight" when looking that direction is an optical illusion by the fact that the ship is lit artificially up by a bright light on the ship. The parts of the ship in front of you when looking from night toward the sunrise should be a black silhouette, but there's a bright ass light close to the cameraman and because that lights up the ship, and when combined with a lighter sky in that direction, it makes it look bright to us when its really still basically night time in that video.
