Politicizing the death of a child is low even for the GOP.

How you react to an illegal alien in our country murdering a girl (your first instincts) is NOTHING but political. For everyone. That is because how you look at immigration (in the United States) is entirely binary.

Of course it is politicized. The girl should be alive. Rest assured, if that was your girlfriend, your daughter, your wife, or your mother, I guarantee you, you would become a Trump supporting republican, instantly.

Instead of your plodding 10 y/o brain letting everything rest on a single data point, you might want to consider that illegals have lower crime rates than the averages for US citizens. Now throw in all the radical violent right wingers looking to bomb and shoot folks, blow up domestic infrastructure and wage a violent war on the US Constitution, I'd happily deport all Republicans and keep the illegals. No brainer.

And whether or not the "undocumented migrant" who sneaks over the border just wants to slave away washing dishes at Olive Garden for $8 an hour, 80 hours a week (and obey ALL the other laws), is irrelevant. He broke the law to do that. He broke the law to get here and Olive Garden would be breaking the law employing him.

Moreover, none of the illegal aliens (NONE!) are engineers, computer scientists, lawyers, professors, or medical doctors. None. These are the most illiterate, the most needy, the most peasant of the 3rd world. Why would you want any of them here?

You want to be like that? Could you imagine what it would be, to be like that witness? You want to sit in his chair? You see, he was being purely political. Because he doesn't know right from wrong. My angst with the illegal aliens is NOT because I am only doing the bidding of the GOP or Fox News or any of your other unthinking, pointless, narratives. I came to my own mind here. My angst (my single focus) is in obeying the law. That's it. We must have law and order Tree. If the laws regarding immigration are wrong because they are immoral (or what have you) then change them. If we CAN'T change them (and we can't) then maybe they are not so immoral? Maybe they are meaningful and need to be enforced?

I think only Bobby Kennedy has officially thrown his hat into the DNC ring, but he will never appear on stage with the President to debate him. I guess I don't really care all that much. But I certainly understand it. DNC is protecting a senile man. I hold POTUS Biden in same mental faculty level as I do Senator Feinstein. And this isn't something that gets better.

I have some personal experience here with this "no debate" thing. Katie Hobbs (my governor) refused to debate Kari Lake. Refused. Hobbs was like, there will be no debate, I simply refuse to share even one thing that is important to me (one thing part of my political platform) with the media, just vote. And that worked, Hobbs won by a few thousand votes based on nothing other than name recognition and political party. I think there are multiple reasons for not debating but the fundamental reason remains the same: someone in authority (somewhere) is afraid that if a debate will happen, at least one person on that stage will be embarrassed and might lose a vote that they would otherwise get if the voters don't already know how incompetent they are. Its fear. And sure, I get it. If winning at all costs is the only thing that matters, then the only person who needs to debate is the one who is behind in the polls.
