I didn't know who that guy was until just now, you made me google. I will say this, I am a Protestant. I am a non-denominational evangelical Protestant who firmly believes in dispensationalism and does NOT believe in any church hierarchy. I got the King James Bible and that is the only authority I turn to when deciding what is important to God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. That is the only place where I form my beliefs. And so far, not listening to people who claim to have spiritual authority (and reading my book) has given me peace in a world full of fucked up people in terrible pain. I see a 14 year old boy who thinks he is a girl, and we give that boy understanding and tolerance for his insanity (and possibly some horrific life altering surgery) when what we should be giving him is the body of Christ and hard, honest, conversations about biological reality.

Besides the worst call in NCAA History, it was a good game.

As I was getting out of the Lyft, I didn't even have a ticket. 3 scalpers walked up to me, offered me tickets, initially way above asking price. I just shrugged my shoulders and told them they were trying to scam me since the game had not sold out yet and started walking away. Attempt number two, some guy tried to get me to Venmo him my money and he would send me a luxury box seat ticket via email at $40 bellow cost and I said I don't do Venmo, only cash, and I ONLY want a paper ticket. He couldn't help me. Strike two. So the last guy pulled out this tiny, flimsy, piece of paper with a bar code on it (and nothing else, nothing to tell me that it was even a ticket, let alone a ticket to that game) and he asks me for $120 cash and it was 3 rows up from the court. I look at that ridiculous piece of paper and ask him if he thought I was an idiot and he started back-peddling saying that no, he would never try and scam me. Anyway, I walked away from those guys, went to the box office at T-Mobile arena, and bought a ticket for $86. Got in and saw a hell of a game.

So I'm not the only one who takes you for a sucker.

Last time I went on a cruise, I was walking around the top deck and three different hot chicks stopped to talk to me, but I knew all that was bullshit, so I just kept walking until I got to the Johnny Rockets and found a fat chick to fuck.

I do look like it. I have ALWAYS looked like it. So I can take comfort in the fact that when I resist the urge to open my wallet and give my money to a con artist, I have succeeded (maybe only for the day) at getting the con artist to under-estimate me. I cease being a "mark" and instead, morph into a "waste of time." That is very satisfying.

Okay we just checked in to our hotel here in Sacramento. There are like 6 hotels within walking distance of each other. One of the eight teams is staying in the hotel across the street. Another team, kitty-corner from us. Lots of team buses parked everywhere.
