I am not angry about the FBI trying to suppress free speech. I am angry with the FBI because the chief investigator of both Hillary Clinton (with her emails) and Donald Trump (with the Russian collusion that never happened) was thinking with his dick and submitted to the hysterical woman he was sodomizing and used his power and authority to (unlawfully) both prop up Hillary Clinton while trying to get Donald Trump impeached. The NY Post isn't posting pictures of Hunter Biden's dick. Kayleigh McEnany was referencing the NY Post article. They were banned by twitter simply because they referenced the existence of a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden that had incriminating evidence on it. Twitter was actively shutting down any discussion at the mere idea of the existence of Hunter Biden being such a crackhead that he left a laptop to be repaired with evidence of not just illegal drug abuse but also his father intervening on his behalf to solicit global deals with foreign entities. Worse, the media refused to investigate the laptop and that was supported by the lack of "interest" being generated on twitter.

It could have very well influenced the election had that information been investigated and brought to light on social media.

So you have to ask, who coordinates a response like this? We've seen this time and time again in the past for TV stations , like Fox affiliates, where the TV anchors use the exact same wording to drive a narrative - that can be easily explained - some higher up at Fox tells them the talking points and tells them to use the exact wording, but here the only obvious connection they have is they are liberal twitter journalists. And journalist is a loose term, its more like liberal figurehead on twitter.

We have something at work for linkedin. Essentially you sign up for some service and the company on your behalf posts articles about new product releases, etc, on your behalf and it appears as if you are posting it yourself.

I think that might be the case on twitter, where these people have signed up to have their accounts managed by a 3rd party that coordinates the talking points for them, perhaps in turn for a payout in regards to number of followers and retweets.

That's a real concern here - not only do you have a situation where twitter is actively eliminating any tweets that are a threat to their political ideology, but they have a coordinated group of followers, ostensibly as independent thinkers, aligning themselves to attack the message or messenger that is also a threat to the political ideology.

Report: Tax Prep Websites Sent Clients’ Financial Data to Facebook

Taxpayers’ financial information was being transmitted through a widely used code called the Meta Pixel.

Large tax preparation companies H&R Block, TaxAct, and TaxSlayer sent sensitive client financial information to Facebook’s parent company Meta after customers used the firms’ software to file their income taxes online, according to a report published last week by The Markup.

The investigation, published with The Verge on Nov. 22, found that taxpayers’ financial information was being transmitted through a widely used code called the Meta Pixel—a snippet of JavaScript code that allows users to track visitor activity on their website.

The data “includes not only information like names and email addresses but often even more detailed information, including data on users’ income, filing status, refund amounts, and dependents’ college scholarship amounts,” the report states.

Facebook can then use that information from the tax preparation companies “to power its advertising algorithms and is gathered regardless of whether the person using the tax-filing service has an account on Facebook or other platforms operated by its owner Meta,” according to the report.

TaxAct also uses Google’s analytics tool on its website, and The Markup found similar financial data—but not names—being sent to Google through its tool.

The Markup used TaxAct as an example of how the data is sent to Facebook:

When users sign up to file their taxes with the popular service TaxAct, for example, they’re asked to provide personal information to calculate their returns, including how much money they make and their investments. A pixel on TaxAct’s website then sent some of that data to Facebook, including users’ filing status, their adjusted gross income, and the amount of their refund, according to a review by The Markup. Income was rounded to the nearest thousand and refunds to the nearest hundred. The pixel also sent the names of dependents in an obfuscated—but generally reversible—format.

When asked to comment on the investigation, spokespeople from the three tax preparation companies claimed to not know users’ personal tax information was being collected by Facebook from the pixel and would have it removed from their tax-filing websites.

As of Nov. 23, The Markup said TaxAct had removed the pixel from its tax-filing web application but was still sending financial information to Google Analytics. The Markup also verified that H&R Block removed the pixel, as did TaxSlayer.

The investigation also found that Intuit was using the pixel, but its TurboTax software was not sending tax information to Meta; instead it was transmitting usernames and the last time a device was signed in. In some circumstances, the pixel also gathered information like an order ID number and a user’s email address after they signed in, The Markup said.

As of Nov. 21, TurboTax had stopped sending usernames through the pixel at sign-in, the report stated.
