Whats a sump pump--and I DID look it up and it confused me more--doesn't take much!--it went into sump pits??? flooded basements--if your basement is 'finished' how can water get in?

Yes, the library place will do fine but it's an existing forum that we hooked up with... not a new forum that moved en masse to a new location.

typically someone would have a "pit" that goes below the level of their basement floor to catch groundwater before it seeps into your basement and you have a pump there to pump the water out to a drain or whatever.

I'm sorry, I miscommunicated. I'm not making a prediction about its demise. When I say it's dead, I'm talking about right now... it's really slow, hardly any posts being made. I do hope it picks up.

This time of year not much happening right now, unless you give a rats fart about the NBA, which I don't. Most of the crew has come over from World Crossing. We'll get more members and posts when football starts and baseball heats up.
