Re: Ostensibly Hoops
Garcia is our most important player. He should have a nice NBA career. 6'11", moves well, can hit the 3 and also mix it up in the post. Kerwin Walton will have a nice NBA career too. His game translates perfectly to the modern NBA, he's got good range and good size, he'll have plenty of opportunities to catch and pop at the next level. Neither of them will be stars at the next level, but they could be important pieces on good teams...

That tall lanky kid at Gonzaga better get some meat on him before he goes up against real men in the NBA.

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
The Bearcats game went better than expected but the UCLA game, blech. And yeah, Holmgren needs so beef. Still a puppy.
Re: Ostensibly Hoops
One of the best kept secrets in college hoops, Iowa, plays tonight.
Hester’s Yup Truck is goin’ home empty.

He needs to not get early fouls vs Duke. Only reason they lost.Jungle Rat wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 11:49 am The Bearcats game went better than expected but the UCLA game, blech. And yeah, Holmgren needs so beef. Still a puppy.

I wish you would have a nice career in the NBA (the Not Breathing Association) too.hedge wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 10:49 pm Garcia is our most important player. Re: Ostensibly Hoops
What do they call it when a kickball team isn't good enough and has to move down a league?
Re: Ostensibly Hoops
My apologies to TAK for an earlier post. UNC sucks. They’re not a top 25 team. Mediocre all around except for Manek but he can’t carry them. They’re going to lose to Michigan probably, and Duke twice, and a bunch of unranked conference teams. Davis had better start recruiting some players or he won’t last.

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
I’m not convinced Michigan is even a tournament team.
I still saw instances of shit rotation / spacing on defense, and I think ball movement has a long ways to go.
There are far too many new parts and adjustments to judge this team. We will start knowing in January if they can get it all together.
I like Manek serving as a bench scorer.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Walton start over Davis to protect Davis some since he is essentially the other point guard.
The 2005 team was criticized for shit defense and episodes of selfish play until March rolled around and everything gelled at the right time. That year doesn’t get labeled as a great coaching job because that team was so damn talented, but Coach Williams coached his ass off with that bunch.
Has the game between the tractor fuckers ended yet?

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
UNC won by a pretty decent margin against a ranked team at the first of December
I wish I could say that about UK.
It could be worse, you could have future NBA players and lose to 2-5 Georgia

I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Probably so. The gist of what I was saying is true, I think, but some of the specifics I posted were off.Jungle Rat wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 10:16 amThat's where Trees previous post needed to go.DooKSucks wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 3:00 amRelegationJungle Rat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 9:39 pm What do they call it when a kickball team isn't good enough and has to move down a league?
