Mets could have easily done what the Braves did this year. Make some timely purchases to replace injured players and let'err rip. Granted they would have needed Thor back mostly likely. But it could have been done.

How do the Metskis go from being abominable with RISP to a playoff team though. Poor Jd. Best pitcher in MLB and his team doesn't love him. How do you fix this? Just make a few changes and hope it goes away? Glad Baez got sent packing though.
