They don’t have the pitching depth needed.

I still think they lose in a close six or seven game series, but if they make it to the WS, I don’t think they can pull it off.

Stopped in a place in town called Sports Investments that's in the neighborhood I grew up. I've been here many times but not in recent years. The family is one of the biggest collectors in town. I was talking with the owner catching up and he gave me another typical Pete Rose story. They bought everything Pete had over the years. They even have his 4192 vette. Pete came in a few months back and wanted to sell his banishment contract. He had some sort of deal with the casinos to market it. The guy passed and He's still looking to unload it. Pete would sell his mother to make a dime. He makes good money signing in LV.

Sad but not surprising...

I remember seeing something recently that some recent court records showed that Rose was in massive debt again and the the $1m or so he earns doing shows / signings wasn't even servicing the debt.

My wife's viewing habits consist almost exclusively of Hallmark, Lifetime, E!, Bravo and HGTV with the occasional foray to Faux News. It's fucking maddening. She has yet to learn how to unblock channels. So, when I'm in a foul mood and/or want to fuck with her, I will block some of her channels, and she will lose her shit. It's hilarious.

My 67 year old MIL watches nothing but Faux News. Ugh....
