I just read up on Robin Williams, evidently he really did get clean after Belushi's death. He fell off the booze wagon a few times many years later, but he says he never went back to the blow...

He had heavy depression so if your source claims he was clean at the end of his life I would tend to doubt it.

Yeah, me either. He was diagnosed with Parkinsons so sure he was depressed. But I don't think blow had anything to do with it..

I agree with hedge and rat. I believe he was genuinely depressed. And maybe even broke (what with the divorces and the large alimony payments.)

When I was reading on the internet about all the conspiracy theories that Williams died in a sexual act (auto-erotic asphyxiation) that he was strangling himself while he masturbated (and went just a little too far), I thought that was all bullshit. I still do. I think he was depressed. He tried to slit his wrists. And when that didn't work, he hung himself. I don't think drugs or sex had anything to do with his death.

I spent a month with my mom recently and every evening at 5pm she would watch Jeopardy , a mix of Trebek reruns and the people that were trying out to replace them. I did get to see Aaron Rogers host.

I'm not a fan of Jeopardy and worse, I've watched more of SNL celebrity jeopardy than I have the real jeopardy. She didn't understand why I got pleasure out of the people who would continually answer wrong and end up with negative numbers but that was the only time I"d pay attention.
