For the record, I've got Brown in both leagues so I'm hoping Shady spends at least some of the season in the training room...

They'll both get plenty of touches. Brown looked really good in Preseason. No way he plays the sideline too much.

Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.

Now we know the real reason aTm is bolting to the SEC: They're scared of K-State's new Kick-Ass mascot.

I live in NYC now (for the last 13 years), but I grew up in Mt. Airy and Chester and my parents are in Delaware.

Cool, my Dad's side of the family is from Philly. He grew up in Media and my grandparents were from Ridley Park and Upper Darby.

Sis and her douchebag husband, CameronCrazy, lived in Chester Springs for a few years.
I proudly took AFAM 040 at Carolina.

Nice. My great aunt lived in Media (my mother's office was there for many years, too) and I (via my league team) used to DEMOLISH kids from Darby and Ridley Township during my club basketball days in Junior High. I don't think we lost a game in the tourneys we entered down there.

My first (in game) dunk was on a Ridley kid. They called the foul on me...but I was in 8th grade, so it was still a Sports Center moment.

Philly's an acquired taste, but if you embrace the city, it will embrace you back (just keep an eye on your wallet..and wear a condom).

Agreed, city gets a bad rap just because of a few yahoos at some of the pro sports venues.

I like Philly. I dig the CIty Tavern. Give me a Ben Frankin beer or some wassail and set me by the fireplace if it's cold out and I'm happy.

Love the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Indy Hall, the Liberty Bell and, even if you're not in the medical field, the Mutter is very cool.

I, however, would have preferred he went elsewhere to school.

That's why I auto-draft. I haven't watched a complete NFL game, Super Bowls included, in more than 5 years. Maybe 10, who knows? The only guys I know about are ones that have been on my fantasy teams the last 2 years. I couldn't name more than 4-5 players on any given team, except maybe the Panthers since we run their AP wire stories.

I've hated the NFL almost as long as I've been posting with you numbnuts so this shouldn't be a surprise. I only play fantasy football as a distraction. But my 2-year streak as fantasy baseball king is in dire straits due to Josh Johnson's season-long ailment. I was leading the league 6 weeks ago but lost 2 straight weeks by a combined 2 pts and now I'm having to scramble to make the playoffs. and just when I benched Ethier's sorry ass, he starts hitting again. Also, I thought Altuve's hot streak was waning and I sat him, too, and the fucker goes off tonight.
