I doubt the Reds are as good as they’ve looked, but the Pirates are definitely as bad as they look. The owner figured out he can make more money not paying for talent even with empty seats because of revenue sharing. He’s the Mike Brown of the MLB and the MLB does need to make him sell.

I’ll always be a fan. I won’t change teams. The 70s Pirates were great and we had season tickets so that will never leave my soul.

Just in these dark years, you just have to shut off baseball for awhile.

It's an eight or nine game sample size. That's 5% of the season. How can you call a team good based on that? You can't, but that doesn't stop you from making another stupid observation. The Sox have won six in a row, but you don't hear any person who understands baseball calling the Sox a good team after nine games. Outside of LA and maybe Houston, it will take at least a month to know anything, and even then, there are teams that have a hot April and May only to fade back to their reality.

I'm still trying to figure out which Sox team DS is talking about. He changes teams more than I change bi polar meds. But I got past that. DS talking baseball is like goldie talking about sex. You're right. They are looking like a good team. Way early as I think we both figured we'd figure. But a fast start is nice. Much needed as history proves. Helps future ticket sales, even being capped at 12 right now. Peaks interest in an already crazy baseball town. Makes it fun. I don't see anyone claiming a World Series yet. If you are, you don't know baseball. I know baseball.
